Welcome to The Forge, operated by McCane Creations LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using this platform, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The Service
The Forge is a manufacturing translation platform that converts user-submitted ideas into machine-ready design files (SVG, DXF, STL, DST, PES, PNG). We provide access to multiple production engines including Laser, Vinyl, Heat Press, DTF, 3D Print, Embroidery, and CNC.
Previews are always free. A credit is consumed only when you select a design and click FORGE THIS to download your machine-ready file.
2. Accounts & Plans
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
We offer three subscription tiers:
- Type It — Free plan, 5 files per day, basic engines plus 6 lifetime combined 3D and Embroidery files.
- Make It — Paid plan, 10 files per day, adds 3D Print engine.
- Own It — Paid plan, 20 files per day, all engines including full Embroidery access.
Guest users receive 1 free generation from standard engines without creating an account.
3. Credits & Downloads
1 credit = 1 machine-ready file download = yours to keep forever. Credits are consumed at the point of download, not at the point of preview generation. Daily credits reset at midnight. Unused daily credits do not carry over.
File bundles purchased separately never expire and may be used at any time.
4. Founder Pricing
Early subscribers receive an introductory price for the first 6 months. After the introductory period, their price locks permanently as Founder pricing — provided they maintain an active subscription.
If a subscriber cancels their plan, Founder pricing is permanently forfeited. Upon resubscribing, the current market rate applies. No exceptions.
5. Ownership of Generated Files
When you download a file through The Forge, you receive full rights to use that file for personal and commercial purposes, including selling items made from that file. You may not resell the raw design file itself as a digital product.
An ownership certificate is included with every download as documentation of your rights.
McCane Creations LLC retains ownership of the platform, engines, translation system, and underlying technology. The generated output files belong to you.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use The Forge to generate content that:
- Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others
- Depicts illegal, harmful, or offensive material
- Is used to deceive, defraud, or harm other people
- Attempts to reverse-engineer or extract the platform's translation logic
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without refund.
7. Upload Submissions
When you upload your own artwork for conversion, you confirm that you own the rights to that artwork or have permission to use it. McCane Creations LLC is not responsible for copyright violations arising from user-uploaded content.
8. Service Availability
We work hard to keep The Forge running reliably. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and unforeseen outages may temporarily affect availability. We will not issue credits for brief service interruptions.
9. Payments & Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

10. Limitation of Liability
McCane Creations LLC provides The Forge on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties about the fitness of generated files for any specific purpose. We are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use generated files, including any manufacturing defects or machine damage.
You are responsible for verifying that output files are suitable for your specific machine and use case before production.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of The Forge after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
