The short version: We collect only what we need to run the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We use your information to provide and improve the service — nothing else.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted). If you choose a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our payment provider — we never store your full credit card details.
Usage data: We track which engines you use, how many files you generate and download, and your credit usage. This is used to enforce plan limits and improve the platform.
Uploaded files: If you use the Upload function, your file is temporarily stored to process the conversion. Files are not permanently retained after your download is complete.
Generated files: Design files generated through the Forge are associated with your account for download history purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To process and deliver your file downloads
- To enforce plan limits and credit usage
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts, support replies)
- To improve our engines and platform based on usage patterns
- To respond to support requests
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
3. Cookies & Session Data
We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences during a session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Guest users have a session cookie set to track the one free generation per visit. This cookie does not contain personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Hostinger — web hosting and file storage
- Stripe (or equivalent) — payment processing for paid subscriptions
- Stability AI — AI image generation for design previews
- Anthropic — AI language model used for design translation
Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We share only the minimum information necessary for them to perform their function.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Uploaded source files used for conversion are deleted after processing is complete. Generated output files are retained in your account history.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-transactional communications at any time

7. Children's Privacy
The Forge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information — including encrypted password storage and HTTPS throughout the platform. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
